My aim is to assist organizations to be healthier, wealthier and wiser. Utilizing a wide range of business management strategies and operational techniques, I support a diverse client portfolio covering public, private and not-for -profit sectors.
Primarily with clients, I identify and investigate problems associated with strategy, policy, organization and systems, subsequently formulating recommendations for action and assisting to implement the agreed solutions.
Developing on my core profession, purchasing and supply management, I have recently been assisting clients to identify the value of managing intangible assets particularly when developing supplier relationships. Organizations often fail to recognize the intellectual capital to be derived from commercial partnerships and alliances particularly when focusing on the tangible outcomes of the contractual agreement. Additionally I train professional buyers, to look beyond selecting goods and services merely on lowest price and develop competences in the area of knowledge transfer and value "whole life" contribution of the supplier in the supply chain.

Key Focus Areas
Knowledge Management
Providing a variety of knowledge management tools and techniques, I help my clients to develop their organizations. Clients rarely appreciate the untapped wealth within the business. KM tools and techniques facilitate a change of perspective within the business, enabling knowledge to be turned into action and consequential increased business value.
Supply Chain Alliances
Assisting clients to select the "right" supplier, contractor or partner, for service or product delivery, ensures that participants in the supply chain, add value. Current organizational models indicate that 80% of business activity can be outsourced and therefore a large proportion of turnover relates to externally purchased goods and services. Leveraging value through the supply chain and external alliances delivers measurable business improvement.
Communities of Practice
Working with a variety of professional groups including management consultants, professional buyers and general managers, I provide KM knowledge and facilitation skills, to maximize the competency of the community, increase information and knowledge and produce organizational benefits.
