I am a knowledge management business consultant with a wide experience at executive, managerial & technical levels of building 'business acumen' through knowledge focussed development programs.

I help organizations discover, through collaborative consultation, the right questions to ask to understand the real business strategy and whether it meets current & future business needs.
I then develop platforms for the design & delivery of tailored solutions by using very engaging processes like business simulations, analytical & measurement tools. These are provided through a variety of different learning forums & workshops that are focused on creating added value by quantifiable action outcomes through a sharing of knowledge in a collaborative climate.

I have always believed that it is people who create business & make it successful by working with others both inside & outside the organisation. Therefore the more you know about your own business and what drives your client's business, the more it can help you meet their needs.

My background includes working for IBM (14 years) and National Advanced Systems (5 years). I formed C3 in 1988 and have subsequently worked in many industries such as consultancy, IT (hardware, & software), semiconductors, consumer electronics, government dept's, academic institutions & networks delivering programs to organisations as diverse as Perot Systems (USA & Europe), Siemens, HP, Unisys, the Dti, the Home Office, Philips NL, Greenwich University & the London Knowledge Network .

I have over 10 years experience of running programs based around Celemi's award winning simulations and the world renowned Sveiby Toolkit listed below. I have focussed primarily on classroom Tango & the electronic/internet version called TangoNet; Apples & Oranges (several versions); IAM the Intangible Asset Monitor (Sveiby's Balanced Scorecard); KMAP the Knowledge Management Activity Planner; CET the Customer Engagement Tool.
Key Focus Areas

Knowledge Focused Action
Action learning through experiencing 'the next best thing to reality' but without the risks! I use business simulations & learning tools to model the effects of different strategies & tactics. Other analytical & measurement tools are then used to gauge the effect of the output from the learning process.

Methodology & Style
I encourage learning through reflection & mentoring and act as the catalyst for change by using a variety of very engaging processes like simulations, analytical & measurement tools. I also use creative ways of finding innovative solutions using techniques like lateral thinking. This provides clear understanding and enhanced personal development whilst retaining more learning for longer by having an enjoyable experience delivered in a fun & engaging manner.
